Dr. Ronnie George, DDS
Dr. George enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry while establishing long term relationships with patients. He attends many advanced continuing education courses in order to stay abreast of the latest advances in the field of dentistry. He is also a published writer of several medical articles in his areas of expertise.
Dr. Taylor Knier, DDS
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She enjoys helping patients of all ages maximize their oral health and focuses strongly on patient education. She actively pursues continued education to stay current on best practices and advancements being made in the dental field.
Get to Know Dr. George
I consider myself fortunate to have been a part of this community for the past 16 years. In this time I have made lasting relationships with my patients and have gotten to know them as people and their families as well.
- My main goal is to provide friendly care whatever the problem might be. I truly believe that our practice is all about Peace, Love and Dentistry!
- I love playing tennis and I play at least twice a week.
- Faith and family values are important to me and I am an active member of St. Mark Church.
- Aquascaping is a passion of mine apart from tending to my organic fruit trees and weekly brewing of homemade kombucha in different flavors
- Through my patients in Kings Mountain, I have been introduced to various Southern staples – Chow Chow being one of them!
Get to Know Dr. Knier
I joined Kings Mountain Dental in 2021 and have felt at home ever since, loving my co-workers and our wonderful patients. Helping patients smile more confidently is one of my favorite aspects of being a dentist, and seeing their reactions in the mirror brings me great joy. I also enjoy working with pediatric patients, striving to make every dental experience positive and comfortable for all ages
- I prefer UNC for basketball and USC for football but welcome fans of all teams.
- Enjoy spending time with family and friends, especially chasing around our toddler, Lawson.
- Actively involved with Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian Church.
- Love playing pickleball and hiking Crowders Mountain on Saturday mornings.
- Like Dr. George and Chow Chow, I grew up in Charlotte but didn’t try R.O. ‘s Sauce/Slaw until I started working in Kings Mountain.

Your First Visit
During your first visit to Kings Mountain Family Dentistry, we take the time to get to know you and your dental health history. Our team will conduct a thorough examination, which includes digital radiographs (x-rays), digital photos, and an assessment of your jaw joints (TMJ) and associated muscles. We will also examine your mouth's hard and soft tissues and perform an oral cancer screening. This comprehensive approach helps us understand your unique dental needs and allows us to create a personalized treatment plan. We aim to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in your care from the first visit.
